The comfort level is as good as claimed from the get go. It’s expensive, no doubt, but the quality and finishing of the rubber and the deployant clasp are second to none.

I ordered this strap to replace the rubber strap that came with my Tudor Black Bay 54. The Tudor rubber strap is OK, but it just doesn't feel perfect. The new HydoFlex Strap is perfect. It completes the wearing experience. I also got a chance to experience the customer service. I had several question about selecting the correct strap. I emailed Artem and they promptly responded to all my concerns.
Artem has become my go to strap supplier.

This is my 3rd Artem strap. As an avid diver since age 15 (1970) and pilot since 1972, I have acquired some great tool watches including a transitional (1982) Rolex Sub, Omega Planet Ocean Ti, IWC Pilot Bronze, Sinn etc. After a half-century of wreck/rock/coral damage I had my Seiko "Tuna Can" restored awhile back and treated it to Artem loopless straps in both blue and green, with deployant clasps and quick-change pins. They are great looking, comfortable and durable, I just received my new loopless "HydroFlex" Dark Matter strap and, while it was a bit costly (which is the ONLY reason I took off a star), it's a level-up, comfort-wise. it just feels great, both to the touch and on the wrist. you won't be disappointed with the Standard version but the hydroflex is even better. be sure to get deployant clasp, it eliminates wrestling with a buckle. Better, it eliminates buckle-to-desk contact as it provides a soft rest for one's wrist during "desk diving".

Decided to try something different for my 18 year old seamaster, looked at loads of online reviews and all pointed to Artem. Sometimes the internet knows what it's talking about.
The folks at Artem don't claim to be cheap, but they do claim to be obsessed with producing the best straps possible.
I think they might be telling the truth.
Given my favourite watch a whole new feel.
Straps fits perfectly and it's the comfiest thing. Feels fantastic.
Loopless strap with deployment clasp is such a good look, no spare bit of strap flapping around looking silly.
I'm a bit of an ol' goth so black strap, black stitching and matching black clasp - Dracula would be jealous.
Now I need to acquire more watches so I have an excuse to sbuy more straps.
